  • Sustainability Strategy (in development)

The University is currently developing the UWA Sustainability Strategy 2030. The strategy will be closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles and will take a holistic approach focused on embedding sustainability across our education, research and campus operations to create a better future for our community.


Sustainability Committee

The University’s sustainability committee provides a forum to monitor institutional targets and advise Executive on issues of consequence.

It is chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education), and consists of staff and student representatives from various areas of the University, including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor's (Research) office, the Chief Financial Officer's office, Brand Marketing and Recruitment, Grand Challenges, Climate Change Community of Practice, International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research and Campus Management. The student representatives are from the Guild’s Environment Department and Postgraduate Student Association.

The committee is also involved in developing and overseeing the UWA Sustainability Strategy, including environmental and social sustainability.




Sustainable Campus Dashboard

This public dashboard has been created to provide transparency around energy usage on the Crawley campus.
