Campus Management

UWA Landscape Vision

Campus Management is currently developing a UWA Landscape Vision to inform future soft and hard landscaped projects across campus.

The Crawley campus is considered one of the most beautiful in the world and great care has been taken to ensure the planning approach of ‘building in a park’ is maintained, and that the campus is developed with equal importance given to buildings and the landscape.

The landscape vision will formalise landscape design principles across the Crawley campus by:

  • providing a framework to guide future change in the soft and hard landscape throughout the Crawley campus
  • informing planning of new developments
  • serving as a reference guide for decision making by University building and grounds staff and others to ensure consistency and quality detail solutions, finishes and fixtures
  • identifying and prioritising landscaping projects across the campus
Preliminary landscape design concepts have been prepared for three precincts across the Crawley campus, with a fourth precinct being developed as part of EZONE UWA.

The UWA Landscape Vision will pull all the precincts together and is anticipated to be finalised later in 2016.
